Today I decided to mix things up a little at breakfast instead of the usual eggs and breakfast muffin or cereal. It came to me that I never thought about making french toasts for Benjamin! I found this recipe online which called for just 3 ingredients! That makes it instantly awesome in my book! You will need: •1 banana •2 ounces of whole milk (or whichever milk your babe drinks) •2-3 slices of bread (depending on how much your babe or toddler eats) To prep, mix banana and milk in a blender until smooth. The great thing about this is that you may add other ingredients such as maybe vanilla extract or a dash of cinnamon! Next, cut out bread into little "fingers" or use a cute cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Dip the bread into blended bananas and milk until fully soaked, then cook on oiled skillet on medium heat until both sides are nice and browned. I suggest maybe adding an egg since I noticed that my french toasts were a little soggy and were a bit hard to flip. Wait to cool and add a sprinkle of powdered sugar if you'd like to add a touch of sweetness and add some fruit for a nutritious breakfast for your little ones!
