So as you've read in my Sensory Bin Dollar Tree Haul blog post, I have been meaning to do one of these for a very long time! Making a sensory bin requires little to no effort because they're pretty easy to make, but I know some people would love to see how one is made to get some ideas of their own, and that's why I'm here to present to you my take on a Halloween Sensory Bin! You can check out my original blog post on the haul here, but just to refresh your memories, here are the pictures of the things that I got: Of course you don't have to get the exact supplies that I got, but you are free to do so if you'd like! Instead of rice, you can use a more sensory engaged supplies such as cooked spaghetti, just to make things a little more icky and fun or if you're making a sensory for little ones that still put everything in their mouths. Of course at the end of the day they would have to be thrown away, unlike the rice, because who wants to eat spaghetti that has been handled by a toddler or preschooler? (I probably would cus I already eat food off their hands anyways!) I decided to go with the rice of course but would definitely like to try the edible spaghetti in the future. To make things more fun, I decided to dye the rice in crazy Halloween colors! What you will need is: • A couple of ziplock baggies |
