Ever since Benjamin started solids I realized I began to buy ground beef...a lot! I feel like it's an easy meat to cook and you can cook it in anyway you want! I was on pinterest as usual and remembered when I did this dish, Korean beef! I am a huge fan of Asian food and especially sweet and spicy Asian food so I knew I'd love this dish, and what's great about it is that you can have it as spicy or as sweet as you'd like! You will need: 1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 Tablespoon sesame oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers (to desired spiciness, I use a lot!) salt and pepper for taste 1 bunch green onions, diced (don't skip this! I always do and the recipe says this makes it taste even better!) Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown hamburger with garlic in the sesame oil. Drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, salt and pepper and red peppers. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions and Enjoy! This is a favorite in the house and I'm always excited to make it because it tastes like what you eat in a restaurant! Get on cookin! Comments are closed.
