If you've been following my blog for a while, you know I decided to start the tradition of doing foot and hand prints of Benji for the seasons and holidays. It all started with last year's Christmas tree foot print. Yesterday I decided to do the famous hand print turkey to celebrate November and Thanksgiving! All you need is
•Some construction paper •Stickers •Glue •Googly eyes •Paints •And everything in between (feathers, glitter, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, etc!) I am very limited to my supply of arts and crafts supplies. I used to paint back in my pre mommy days so I always have paints in hand. You may do your turkey as you please! If you have a baby or toddler, this can be very tricky. I sat Ben on his high chair while he watched some Barney while I did this! I actually painted his entire hand a soft sandy beige. I figured coloring each little finger a different color would result into a complete mess! Whenever his little hand print dried, I then carefully painted over his little fingers to the desired color I wanted. I added a googly eye and some stickers I had gotten at Target for a $1 and voila! Cute little turkey just in time for the Holiday! Comments are closed.
